Tourism from Latin America 

       Miami has seen a huge influx of Latin Americans since the 1960s. People from all over Latin America se Miami as a very desirable place for vacation or living. These immigrants from Latin America have brought over much of their own culture and have meshed that with the culture of Miami. This has made it a more open place to visit for Latin Americans than say to visit another city with less Latino influence. Tourist number shave begun to rise quickly and it is helping Miami in many ways. Miami also is a favorable destination for Latinos because it is very close geographically to Latin America. In 2013, around 14 million people who spent 10.6 billion dollars. Recently in 2015, this number went to about 16 million people who spent 24 billion dollars. Of these many tourists, 35% stay in Miami Beach and records show that around 69% of these are from some country in Latin America.

       This tourism does a lot for the city of Miami. the large amounts of monrey spent by these tourists have led to businesses expanding greatly and new projects to benefit the tourists and to make Miami a better destination to keep tourists coming at high rates. Some of these include construction, hotels, restaurants, and transportation. About one job per 90 tourists is created and the tourism business provides just over a million jobs. These businesses grow and fluorish to comply with the tourists and try to make Miami more luxorious. The money from tourists has been used to make Miami more appealing by improving tourist destinations. Tourism has helped the economy greatly by supplying jobs and fostering more business which makes it one of the prime reason of economic success of Miami and the sheer beauty of the city.
